The Dovey estuary from Aberdovey
Looking up the Dovey estuary to Aberdovey and the open sea from the eastern end of the town.
Looking inland along the estuary, The steps that can be seen are part of the walk described below.
There is one walk in the area I particularly enjoyed. Follow the road along the sea front heading away from the open sea. Just before you go under the railway
turn right. You will come to a small park. Go into the park, at the far end of the park there is a path that follows the side of the estuary. The path in parts is carved into the rock.
The path runs between the side of the estuary and the railway. It eventually crosses the railway and brings you back to the road. This is a short and pleasant stroll.
Memorial stone to soldiers in world war two set in the park at the eastern end of Aberdovey.
Crossing the main Shrewsbury to Pwhelli railway line as described on the above walk. This railway is known as the Cambrian Coast line.
