A delightful rural pub situated in the beautiful valley at Troway on the Dronfield - Troway - Gleadless walk just off the main Dronfield to Eckington Road.
This information was correct in April 2002 but landlords sometimes vary opening hours etc so it would be an idea to ring and check before setting out.
Morris dancing outside the Gate Inn 7th June 2002
This dance was performed by the Harthill Morris Dancers. This was a really good night at the Gate. After the dancing there was a sing along inside the pub that everyone seemed to enjoy a great deal.
