Nags Head Edale
The official start of the Pennine way this pub can be found on Edale the horseshoe walk .
This pub is idealy situated within easy walking distance of both of Edale's campsites.
You may also have a night out traveling from either Sheffield or Manchester thanks to the late evening train departures to both cities, See railtrack for train times.
Why not try the nearby Rambler Inn this is within easy walking distance.
If you enjoyed the Nags Head you would probably enjoy Tan Hill This pub is situated Halfway along the Pennine way and would take you about 2 - 3 weeks to walk there from Edale.
This information was correct in April 2002 but landlords sometimes vary opening hours etc so it would be an idea to ring and check before setting out.
